What Is the Service?
Our Covid Lateral Flow Device (LFD) Service provides NHS-funded rapid Covid-19 testing for eligible patients and care settings. Lateral flow tests give a quick result and help eligible patients access Covid-19 treatments promptly, and help care settings identify and manage outbreaks.
Who Is This Service For?
This NHS-funded service is available to specific eligible groups, including:
- •Patients who are eligible for Covid-19 treatments and need to confirm a positive result
- •People with a health condition that makes them more vulnerable to serious illness from Covid-19
- •Staff and residents of care homes and other health and social care settings, in line with current NHS guidance
