MMR is a combined vaccine that protects against measles, mumps, and rubella — three highly contagious viral infections spread through coughing and sneezing. Global measles outbreaks have increased in recent years, making pre-travel protection more important than ever for anyone who isn't fully vaccinated.

Who Should Get Vaccinated?

• •Those born between 1970 and 1990, who may not be fully protected
• •Anyone unsure of their vaccination history or who never completed the two-dose childhood course

How It Works

Our MMR vaccination service includes:

• 1.Pre-travel health assessment and vaccination history review
• 2.Discussion of travel plans and health risks
• 3.MMR vaccination administered
• 4.Advice on a second dose if your history is incomplete (given at least 4 weeks apart)

MMR is generally well tolerated in adults. Mild soreness at the injection site, a slight rash, or a short-lived low-grade fever can occur. MMR is a live vaccine and is not recommended during pregnancy — let our pharmacist know if this applies to you.
